Victoria Beckham for Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs loved working with Victoria Beckham because no one expected it.

The Louis Vuitton designer cast the former Spice Girl in a campaign for his eponymous brand in 2008 and caused controversy with an advertisement which saw just her legs coming out of a shopping bag, but Marc revealed he chose her because it was so unexpected: "Victoria would never have been the type of person that I think anyone would have thought of as our customer. Victoria liked the idea very much and was totally into it so I said, 'Let's treat her like she's a kind of product.' Because she is, she's created herself... And the first image you saw was just her legs coming out of a shopping bag."

Michael KorsMichael Kors believes women feel confident while wearing his designs.

The designer's creations are huge hit with females all over the world and Michael thinks it's because his clothes make people feel good about themselves.

"If I do my job right, when you get dressed in something I've designed, it helps to boost your confidence. A lot of people say, 'Well, if I was a celebrity, I would always be confident.' But let's be honest: If you've got the cameras on you, it's worse. For some reason, I've seen women at vulnerable moments go for Michael Kors. Jennifer Lopez, two days after she broke up with Ben Affleck, hit the red carpet in Michael Kors. Jennifer Garner has her first child, 10 days later she's presenting at the Academy Awards, Michael Kors. I think it's a confidence boost perhaps. Debra Messing told me after the first time we dressed her for Will & Grace, 'I loved how I look and the plus was I could actually move in this thing.'"

Karen ElsonKaren Elson has an "anxiety attack" every time she does a catwalk show.

The model-and-singer admits she gets terrified whenever she has to walk down a runway so she doesn't really do fashion shows any more.

"Walking down a catwalk is terrifying. I am so useless, I have an anxiety attack every time I do it. I don't really do shows any more for that reason. Walking down a runway, with the lights, the music and all the faces looking at mend the terrifying high heels that are often, for me at least, way too big and falling off. I have these sudden panic attacks that I'm going to trip up. I almost will myself to fall. I really don't do a lot of shows. It would be fun to do them, but I'm terrified, absolutely terrified."

Karen also revealed when she's performing on stage, she likes her outfits to be as dramatic as possible: "I make it dramatic. I try and create a look, like, on my last record I had a lot of fringe. Fringy, fringy stuff. The band and I had a little look going. I think visually it's always good to have some kind of look going on. It makes the performance interesting."

Two years ago he was the face of suitmaker Hickey Freeman in an ad campaign shot by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz. Everyone always asks me what I'm wearing. I love being in an elevator and hearing people say, 'What's that smell?'"

Mandy MooreMandy Moore felt confident in her custom-made CFDA dress.

The A Walk To Remember star wore a cream Lela Rose gown to the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York on Monday and says it was a privilege to put it on.

I'm all about a strong shoulder right now - it feels confident," Mandy, 28, told People.

Designer Lela approached Mandy about a collaboration in April, and the design was inspired by one of Lela's Spring 2012 looks.
